Job Title: Landscaper

Location: Hanover, MA

Job Type: Full-Time Seasonal

Compensation: Based on Experience and Performance

Reports To: Landscape Supervisor or Operations Manager

Overtime: Pay at 1.5 times after 40 hours


Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Landscaper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in landscaping, groundskeeping, or general outdoor maintenance and will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and enhancing residential and commercial landscapes. A strong work ethic and attention to detail are essential for this role.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine landscape maintenance, including mowing, trimming, edging, weeding, and mulching
  • Install and maintain plant material, trees, shrubs, flowers, and sod
  • Operate landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and irrigation systems
  • Prune trees and shrubs for shape and health
  • Assist with hardscaping tasks such as installing pavers, retaining walls, or walkways
  • Monitor plant health and recommend or apply treatments as necessary
  • Maintain a clean and safe worksite
  • Follow safety protocols and company procedures at all times


Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance preferred
  • Ability to safely operate landscaping tools and equipment
  • Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions
  • Basic knowledge of plant care and landscape maintenance techniques
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions
  • Valid driver’s license (preferred or required depending on company needs)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team


Work Environment:

  • Outdoor work in varying weather conditions
  • May require lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, kneeling, and standing for long periods

Job Title: Hardscape Construction / Landscaper

Bonus for CDL and/or Hoisting License

Overtime: Pay at 1.5 times after 40 hours


Job Summary:

We are seeking a dependable, skilled Hardscape Construction/Landscaper to join our team. This role focuses on constructing and installing outdoor living spaces, as well as general landscape work. The ideal candidate has experience in hardscape construction, including patios, walkways, and retaining walls, and takes pride in delivering high-quality craftsmanship. This position is essential to building durable, functional, and visually appealing outdoor environments for residential and commercial clients.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Construct and install hardscape features, including patios, walkways, retaining walls, steps, and outdoor living areas 
  • Perform site preparation, including excavation, grading, base installation, and compaction 
  • Install pavers, natural stone, block systems, and other hardscape materials 
  • Read and interpret project plans, layouts, and specifications 
  • Operate construction and landscaping equipment such as skid steers, excavators, plate compactors, and cut-off saws 
  • Assist with drainage systems, grading, and erosion control solutions 
  • Perform general landscaping tasks, including planting, mulching, and lawn maintenance as needed 
  • Ensure proper measurements, alignment, and leveling for all installations 
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site 
  • Follow all safety procedures and company standards 


Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in hardscape construction, landscaping, or related construction field preferred 
  • Hands-on experience with paver and retaining wall installation strongly preferred 
  • Ability to operate construction equipment safely and efficiently 
  • Strong understanding of grading, base prep, and drainage principles 
  • Ability to read and follow design plans and layouts 
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship 
  • Physical stamina and the ability to perform demanding outdoor labor in all weather conditions 
  • Valid driver’s license (preferred or required depending on company needs) 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team 
  • Bonus for CDL and / or Hoisting License


Work Environment:

  • Outdoor work in varying weather conditions 
  • Physically demanding work, including lifting 50+ lbs, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods 
  • Regular use of heavy equipment and power tools
